Vermont Campus Compact and its Executive Committee* are excited to present the 4th VCC Gala: a Celebration of Service, Service-Learning, and Civic Engagement. Campus presidents, state legislators and other officials, local and statewide media, business leaders, as well as chief academic officers, students, faculty, staff, and community partners will gather on Thursday, March 29 from 2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Vermont State House to celebrate the work of campus and community stakeholders and demonstrate collective impact across the state. This is an excellent opportunity to present a unified picture and recognize the public contribution of higher education in Vermont and elsewhere.
Highlights include:
- Press conference to present statewide awards and highlight local, state, and international efforts;
- Best practices showcase and reception
- Slideshow presentations highlighting individual campuses and statewide impact
- Student and faculty presentations of service, service-learning, and civic-engagement;
- Legislators and other state officials, local and statewide media, and prominent Vermont business leaders will be present;

We encourage member campuses to participate in the following ways:
- Nominate students, community partners, faculty, and staff for the Vermont Campus Compact Awards. Encourage all nominees to attend;
- Respond to this Survey to help us capture the impact on Vermont campuses and communities;
- Recruit students, staff, and faculty to display their work at the Best Practices Showcase;
- Call your president's office and your local legislators to mark this date on their calendar. Let students, faculty, and other stakeholders know about this exciting event.
