Each year, Vermont Campus Compact recognizes and highlights some of the efforts and accomplishments of individuals and celebrates the collective impact of higher education in Vermont.

Every college and university has as part of its mission to prepare students for lifelong citizenship and social stewardship. Toward that end, all Vermont Campus Compact member institutions integrate service into academic courses, coordinate thousands of student volunteers, and develop meaningful partnerships to address community needs.

An estimated 15,000 Vermont college students engage each year in service experiences (community service, service-learning, internships, field-based research); more than half of them do so regularly. Higher education possesses considerable resources that can help address the issues of our time.

Thank you for helping us to honor the commitment of students, faculty and staff, and community agencies with whom they partner, to improving the lives of Vermonters and communities worldwide.
