Presenter Information

For the Pre-Conference Institutes on Tuesday, April 13

Registration and all institutes will be held on the 4 th floor of the Dudley H. Davis Center at the University of Vermont. Please see the directions page of our Web site for directions and parking instructions.

Registration and lunch begin at 11:45 a.m. The institutes will run from 12:30-4:30.

We will provide a room monitor for you and someone to welcome and introduce the session. Then the “show” will be yours.

An afternoon snack will be provided between 2:00-3:00, so you may plan a break anytime during that hour. Please plan to allow 5-10 minutes at the end of the session for participants to fill out evaluation forms.

For those of you who have indicated that you will give power point presentations on April 13, we will provide lap tops (PCs only), LCD projectors and screens in the room. You must bring your presentation on a thumb drive or flash drive. If you work on a MAC, you must convert your presentation before you arrive as our equipment is compatible with PCs only.

Please help us avoid technical difficulties that day by either sending your presentation ahead of time to Colleen Converse or arriving by 11:00 a.m. on April 13, so that we have time to download presentations onto our lap tops. If you are sending your presentation ahead of time, please send them to Colleen at cconvers@middlebury.edu by Friday, April 9.

Cheryl Whitney Lower will send an email during the week of April 5 to the primary contact person of each institute with a list of participants for your institute.

Please see below for a listing of the room capacity and set-up for your room.

For Wednesday, April 14 - Full Conference Day
Higher Education and the Greater Good: Meeting the Challenges of the 21st Century

The conference will take place at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont. Directions, parking and travel information, are available on our web site.

Please review the agenda.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. There will be a separate registration table for presenters.

You must bring your presentation on a thumb drive or flash drive. If you work on a MAC, you must convert your presentation before you arrive as our equipment is compatible with PCs only.

Since time will be tight on the day of the conference and multiple people will be using the workshop rooms, please help us avoid technical difficulties that day by downloading your presentation onto our lap tops before your presentation. We have several available times to do this.
